Darktide Veteran crit and rend type focused build for Recon Lasguns.

The faster the fire rate and the higher the crit chance is the key here, so picking a gun that ticks both of these boxes is ideal, so VId variant seems the best. It seems to be working quite well, I just wish this specific Lasgun had a Maniac % dmg roll instead; this crafting system is something to hate on.
The important nodes that should never be skipped in this one are Exploit Weakness to keep stacking that rend bonus since you will be having high crit (Headhutner Blessing, Opening Salvo, Bonus Crit node) and obviously Shock Trooper so you won't have huge ammo problems. Infernus blessing is another thing that synergizes well with your high crit chance and fast fire rate.
Now It is up to you if you want to commit for Always Prepared to have even better ammo efficiency, maybe go for more utility or tankiness or just do what I did and pick Rending Strikes which will significantly increase your damage output.

PS1: This build can be easily modified for guns like Cavalcade Shredder, just don't go for Shock Trooper obviously
PS2: After some testing I would probably do a couple modifications and take Kill Zone and Iron Will instead of Opening Salvo and Critical Chance Boost (bit more dps/survivability)
