Darktide - Helbore High Crit & Ammo Efficient Veteran Build | Auric Damnation
88Helbore Darktide Veteran build utilizing Shock Trooper and Surgical.
The key points of this build are the Surgical blessing and Shock Trooper node. With Surgical you will basically have 100% crit chance if your shots are close to fully charged combined with Shock Trooper you will theoretically never have to worry about ammo.
However, since in a lot of situations you won't be firing at close to max Surgical stacks your ammo will drop, still though you will be more than fine that's why you gotta skip Survivalist here and go for Fire Team. Also, since your magazine will drop very slowly you are allowed to never pick any fast reload nodes, you should be reloading mostly when out of combat or when you are safe.
Another benefit here is that you can naturally go for the Krak grenades without sacrificing extra points here which are super strong and quite loved by the majority.
Finally I think people prefer the Mk III variant here but I find it a bit lucklaster vs shooters and a bit too clunky for my taste but that's just me, so I would choose the Mk I instead, Mk II is a bit too fast for Surgical stacking but it can work, also Shovel still feels like a meme.
