''jericho is presented with a number of options, some of which are good and others of which are bad, allowing the player to choose morality and grant jericho additional powers, known as "brands," based on the decisions he made. the beneficial path powers are "silver bullet" (which increases the damage done by the player's weapons), "fear" (which confuses small foes), "mystic armor" (which adds an additional shield system), and "vindicator" (bolts of lightning destroying all nearby enemies). the four evil abilities are "blood frenzy," "turn," "black shroud," and "soul stealer." blood frenzy provides an immunity to damage and very potent melee strikes, while turn transforms adversaries into allies by turning them into undead foes (destroying nearby enemies and stealing their souls). the powers can be used for a brief period of time when the blood bar on the HUD, which is refilled by gathering souls, is filled.''
