Toasts good
I bought this toaster oven to toast bread. The temperature setting for toast is 450 degrees. Don't try to put the pointer on the word "Toast" because the dial won't go past 450. It does the job quickly; however, as with older toaster ovens, turn the timer knob past the 5 or 10 minute mark before going back to the desired shade of toast. Select a place almost to the darkest shade indicator to get a nice golden color.
The owner's manual is misleading about the crumb tray. It implies by the picture in the manual that it is separate in the box like the baking tray and baking pan, and that the consumer puts it in the toaster oven when setting it up to use. That is why a reviewer said their oven did not come with a crumb tray. The crumb tray on my toaster oven apparently was not the last part installed at the factory. There was no way to pull out the crumb tray with your hands. My husband had to use a screwdriver to loosen it on the inside of the oven, then use pliers to pull it out from the front of the toaster oven.
