DASK is an Electronics Engineer with a background in audio systems. He started to experiment with recording, synths and sound manipulation from 2005 but always discarded the material before releasing on Syngate Records in Germany in 2017. The style ranges from Berlin School, ambient, electronica and cinematic sometimes with an experimental basis.
DASK was the first computer in Denmark. It is an acronym for Danish Arithmetic Sequence Calculator.
This gift of putting well into music his concepts, his stories with a fascinating precision. The atmospheres of “Abiogenesis”, and their transitions, their evolution towards rhythms very Berlin School justify the means to connect better his music. DASK closes a circle to his first album at SynGate, "Electron Utopia" with the follow-up album "Electron Hell". When radiocativity changes everything. Forever. Chernobyl stands as an eternal relict for this. And DASK gives it a musical shape. And yes, one part of it as well is the beauty. The beauty of radiation when shown on a screen. Or the beauty of decay - when all human influence gets changed by the big power of nature. And last, but not least, the beauty of this album in its musical development, expressing many emotions of tragic, emotions of desire, of dreaming and affection.

The sound engeneer from Great Britain explores the question where all the insects have gone to. 7 Tracks are circling around the phenomenon. The sound is familiar to those, who already know DASK, to anyone being new to him, you can expect soothing electronic sounds rhythms and melodies, ambient atmospheres and a musical universe as varied, as the world of insects used to be.
