This was done with 1 Combo Plus equipped.

The timing on every combo start here is very tight. You also need to ensure that Axel doesn't take damage from at most 2 of your combo starters. Otherwise you won't be able to get his health low enough to skip his DM completely. Mess up a single combo and you can't do this strategy.

If you're wondering why I don't do Burst Frontier the 1st time around, it's because I'm really bad at Ars Arcanum in this game.

As far as I know, this strategy doesn't activate the RNG manipulation for Luxord, but I haven't tried it fighting him straight after Axel yet.
