Data Select (Sonic 3) - RTIHLAH Cover
43"Random Things I Have Lying Around At Home" cover of the Data Select / File Select theme from Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (& Knuckles) I did for fun.
This one sounds a bit more Latin, which fits the track's theme. Sorry for the slower tempo, I'm still doing these for practice, trying to improve my rhythm without rushing too much. I also had two guitar audio tracks planned, but my guitar is still destringed, and the piano montunos did the job just as well, so it would be too much to add the guitars on top of that. I also played the claves part with rim hits on the drumset, but it can barely be heard, no EQ fiddling can fix it and I don't want to do another recording session, so I just focused the edit on the bongos part there.
Please pay no attention to the mess in my room and to the stupid faces I make when playing the instruments.
