8I end my series of Old Games I Had Back In The Day Got Rid Off And Repurchased It, or at least that's what I'm calling it anyway...doesn't cost me anything and I can trademark it at least, with a first, a BMX game....this being the BMX equivalent to the Tony Hawk series of course.
I had a feeling I was going to regret this one and it sure did live up to it. For the very first time I got flagged for copyright from UMG for a song (What I Got by Sublime played during the first level) which caused it to be banned in Germany and not play on mobile devices, which didn't suit me as I play my vids on a tablet.
Now it only read about 40 seconds or so of the song and the rest is fine albeit with some distortion which doesn't last so long. So I got YouTube to mute the copyrighted audio, which they didn't at first but eventually did, then I downloaded the video with the mute and stuck something over it to "please" UMG.
I pushed my luck and paid the price....well not really the video is still here after all....it was too good of a video to get rid off plus I couldn't be arsed doing another with the music off....so it'll have to do....in short what I mean is....tough.
