- The Treasure Gauge+ allows us to identify how many treasures are left in a Cave or on the Surface of a region. For example, upon landing for the day or entering a cave, we used to see "17/???" for Treasures, and now we'll see "17/56" and such.
- Rescuing Frisé unlocks the "Music of a Past Culture" Side Quests. These side quests require us to find all thirteen pieces of the Soulful Musician Treasure Series. Our rewards for completing all of these side quests are Raw Materials, and the Lineup Trumpet. Frisé is also one of the three members of Muggs' TV Crew.
- Rescuing Chewy unlocks the "A Tour Without Tourists" Side Quest. This side quest requires us to find nine members of the Uncharted Planet Tour. Our rewards for completing this side quest are Raw Materials. At this point, we've already rescued three of the nine members, being the School Teacher Mika, and two of her students, Sheeba and Keesh.
