[Day 40] Act 5: Building/Leveling New Tank Because Someone Stormed Off || Core* || Dhampir Druid Sum
This was supposed to be a short stream. Hubby started his new job today and we went out to dinner to celebrate. I was feeling pretty drowsy but I really wanted to level up the mage tank. I figured we'll level him up and then I'll call it a night. Well, it turned into an 8+ hr stream, lol. The game is fun when there's lots to do and starting a new Act means there's a lot to do!
We started off leveling up Kestoglyr as a mage tank w/ the help of chat. Well, we eventually did. Ran into a bug that prevented us from selecting Sorcerer for a Bloodline (the Next button was disabled). What ended up working for me was to level up a Mythic level first then go back to Sorcerer level to select a Bloodline.
Had to make a choice between the feuding undead factions. Even among my own kind there is no peace. I actually had to save scum because I honestly couldn't remember what the 2 factions were. Seeing how I am going down the Lich path to HELP the humans (ie my RP reason to take on Lich powers) it made more sense to side w/ Septimus. He wants undead and humans to co-exist.
Then we encountered another bug where Regill's quest wouldn't trigger. At first, I forgot to bring Regill so that made sense why it didn't trigger. I knew it was his quest so it made sense to bring him, but I was on auto-pilot. In my defense, when I hovered over the Hellknight Outpost, it didn't explicitly say to bring Regill nor did it show Regill's portrait. Even after coming back with Regill, the event wouldn't trigger. Another bug perhaps? So, we gave up on it and went on to a different quest.
Learned a Fresh Tip in regards to replenishing our Crusader Army. Have a ranged unit (ie Marksmen) in a group by themselves and then use the Call to Arms ability on it. It has a huge cooldown on it, but man is it good. I went from 17 Marksment to 317!
Also, it's happening... Ember's starting to lose patience and an undercurrent of her anger is beginning to manifest. The only issue I have about this is she says that I told her that some people won't change their ways unless they are punished. Umm, I've never said that. I was rewatching this part and I only said, "You still hope to persuade the Templars to repent?". I've always said I felt she was going snap one day, but I didn't want to be the reason for it...
Next on the agenda was Greybor's quest. I forgot he said only the TWO of us should go and proceeded to waste a long time wondering why the quest wouldn't trigger. Finally, got it right and thought he had betrayed me even though he warned me it was going to be a trap. Turns out, he's not an entirely rotten person.
The final quest we finished tonight was the one involving Jernaugh. We unraveled the mystery surrounding that village and then I had to sleep IRL. The short stream ended at 5am-ish...
Next play through we're going to try Greybor's quest again and then keep ticking off those quests. Hopefully, none of them are time sensitive (again Kingmaker scarred me, lol). See you guys next time!
