I get it. I'm (almost) a Lich so I'm Evil. However, I don't always perform evil-y actions. Other than existing (soon to be Lich) and raising undead (both evil acts) I don't consider myself too evil. I use my evil powers to go against evil (Dexter analogy).

However, this was another one of those hard to make decisions that tested my alignment. I tried to rationalize it, but I'm pretty sure what I did was an evil action. Right? I thought so, but hubby didn't think so. He said he'd argue it was a Lawful Good action. Letting a few die to save tens of thousands (millions? I don't know the population of Golarion). We're going down a slippery slope folks...
