My girl is beyond redemption...

Found out from someone in chat that I could raise Galfrey. Say what? I thought it'd be fitting so we loaded a previous save to see how it would turnout.

I actually loved how it played out when I raised Galfrey. It was a tough decision because it would mean save scumming, which I don't have a problem with, but just that my whole play through I didn't save scum to alter a decision I made. I felt it would go against the spirit of this playthrough.

I didn't love the Drezen reunion and how it played out. The deaths felt forced, like the game insists that I HAVE to be a murder hobo. Without the anger towards Galfrey and the sting of her betrayal to sway my decisions, all the deaths felt senseless and shallow.

In the end, I decided to forego having Galfrey as a raised companion. Save scumming to have Galfrey in my party plus the senseless deaths at Drezen just didn't feel right. It was a cool alternate reality to witness what Galfrey had to say when she was raised and a fun twist that she's in my party, but it just wasn't fulfilling.

Reloaded the original version of my playthrough and moved on!

Had to take a "quick" break to reboot the game and eat some food.
