Day of the Tentacle is one of LucasArts most well known point-and-click adventure games, together with the Monkey Island games and this game's predecessor, Maniac Mansion. This game follows the protagonist of the previous game, Bernard Bernoulli, and his two friends in their journey through time to stop the evil mutated Purple Tentacle on his quest to take over the world. What makes this game so incredible is how you play in three different eras concurrently, and what one character does in the past can affect the present and the future. You are also able to send items through time, to aid the other characters. Some puzzles also resolve around alternative ways of sending stuff through time, such as simply digging it down or freezing it.
I am mighty impressed by this game; the writing is stellar, the graphics are great for its time and the puzzles are (mostly) solvable (none of that Sierra moon logic stuff). Since I am playing the remastered version, all conversations are voiced, which adds a lot to the experience. But we still stuck with the original graphics though, cause they are just so charming.
