Bimini Run is a pretty cool racing/action game, somewhat similar to Road Rash or OutRun, but on a boat and more action focused. You play as two nameless badasses whose friend gets kidnapped by some evil professor, and go on a rampage to get her back and kill the doctor. The seas are paved with evil boats and attack helicopters, and you have to navigate the seas to perform various missions such as destroying guard towers, chasing other boats or following a mermaid through a psychedelic faerie-land. The graphics are surprisingly good, the graphics are pretty good and the controls are so-so. The game is also fairly short, but on the flip side, you can chose among 6 different layouts for the world map.

I must say I am torn on this game. It is pretty fun and cool, but it is also mighty annoying with the random snipes the enemies can land, and the poor aiming on the guard towers, and the shitty chase scenes. But the game is still appealing, and pretty fun at least for an hour or two. I am glad we beat it in the end though, so we don't have to play it again.
