Daydreamer is the progressive psy music project created by Christiaan Brandt. Christiaan grew up in Cape Town, South Africa during the Psy Trance boom in the late ‘90s and early 00’s. He moved to the UK in 2007 and was quickly immersed in the progressive music culture. DJ’ing and producing under various monikers through the years, he decided to form the DayDreamer Project in 2013. Influenced by artists such as Zen Mechanics, Lifeforms, Zyce, Cosma and Side Effects, Daydreamer really combines his South African heritage and the UK influence in his music - upbeat, psychedelic and very catchy! Alpha State EP is his first release, coming on UK label Furthur Progressions Records.
