DAYMARE 1998 es un survival horror en tercera persona con mecánicas de supervivencia muy duras y una gran dificultad para matar enemigos. Requiere un enfoque estratégico para el combate y ofrece un punto de vista de la historia de varios personajes, revelando una profunda y oscura tradición.
La historia se enfoca en un centro de investigación secreto, una arma química letal y un equipo especial de seguridad que investigará un incidente, con un potencial para convertirse en algo mucho más peligroso que un simple fallo de seguridad. Tendrás que acabar con las criaturas antes de poder buscar cualquier pista o evidencia para encontrarle algo de sentido a este desastre.
