Days Gone 2 Dead, A Last of Us Remake, and Angry PlayStation Fans
2,294A Bloomberg PlayStation Report cites several sources at Sony that indicate Bend Studio was put on a PS5 Last of Us Remake but had pitched a Days Gone 2 sequel which was rejected by Sony. Instead, they were put on AAA support until they asked to make a new game out of fear of becoming a support studio. In addition, a Last of Us remake is in the works instead of new IPs. The article has the entire internet scratching their heads wondering what is going on at Sony and wondering why they seem to have abandoned the teams that made them the industry leader. Many are pointing to Jim Ryan's leadership at Sony for the decisions and wishing that Shawn Layden would return. We'll talk about all of that today.
