Daytona USA Deluxe was a souped-up PC version of Daytona USA Championship Circuit Edition for the Saturn. Daytona USA Championship Circuit Edition featured two additional tracks compared to the arcade version; Desert City and this one National Park Speedway (and Daytona USA Deluxe featured an additional extra track, silver Ocean Causeway, not seen again in any other version of Daytona https://youtu.be/OW1yJDWox7Q).

Daytona USA Deluxe featured more gameplay tweaking options than CCE, concerning the car's control, and allowed you to choose what time of day you played at and also network support. It also had slightly improved graphics, which were then further improved later on via from a Direct3D patch.

The Saturn eventually got a special North American version of the game with network support (rumoured to now be one of the rarest and most expensive Saturn titles ever) and likewise in Japan they received a better version still, with more game modes and cosmetic and gameplay tweaks.

Desert City and National Park Speedway both later appeared in the Dremcast version of Daytona USA 2001 and got visually upgraded. One thing that's always puzzled me though, is that considering the tracks were visually improved from the Saturn original in the DC game why the did the Roller Coaster on this stage go AWOL in the Dreamcast version?
