In this updated for 2024 beginners guide to using the DayZ Editor mod I explain the different ways that loot items can spawn on your community server - via the CLE Central Loot Economy, controlled by types.xml & cfgspawnabletypes.xml, and by using an object spawner file created in the DayZ Editor Mod.

It's important to be aware of these differences so that the changes you make to your server don't damage the loot economy, letting players "farm" too many of the same items.
