In this video, I show you how the game Dayz for Xbox/PS4 knows where to place loot within a building or structure and how it knows what loot to place. Then, how we can change that to fit our needs. There are many possibilities with this method.

With this video, I am assuming you are familiar with creating events to place objects or buildings. I am also using Notepad ++ to edit my XML files

With my videos, I like to set it up so you can then go away and make your own changes based off what I have shown you. For example, in the video, I show you how to create new loot categories and usages to make certain loot spawn for certain structures. But you can have many usages for several items that can get called for many different buildings. In most cases, you may only need to create a new usage to achieve what you want to do. Get creative. I show you how to add a fully built car as helicrash loot. I bet you could add a building itself to be part of the loot as well!
