Here is my video on how to do some easy edits (mods) to the XML files we as private server owners now have access to as of the 1.07 update.

This is aimed at DayZ Xbox and PS4 private server owners

I hope that you get some tips from this and that you go away and try out your own edits. Play around with some of the things I have shown you. Change values on other parts of the code. I show you how to spawn a car with all the parts by increasing the "Chance". Go and try to increase the chance on other objects as well.

🤦‍♂️EDIT: I have removed a small section of the video. It was regarding making the Olga spawn. There is no need to change the nominal value of the cars in the types.xml file. Leave it at 0. If you have it at anything other than 0 the cars will spawn as loot in buildings etc. lol. So leave it at 0. This doesn’t effect the ability to spawn the car in fully made, it just adds it into the loot economy if it’s a positive number 🚗
