In this tutorial video, I'll be sharing with you how to adjust the spawn coordinates and starting points for new players on your DayZ Community Server for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox Consoles.
By following my instructions, you'll be able to customize the spawning locations to appear along the Southern Border, in towns and villages, or at random spots on the map. Please keep in mind that while I haven't tested all of these spawn locations, some of them may not be suitable, such as areas with gas or other hazards.
To make the process easier, I've included ready-made 1.20 update-compatible cfgplayspawnpoints.xml files on my Github page. You can simply rename and upload these files to your server's Livonia (Enoch) mission folder. Additionally, the readme file contains all the xml coordinate snippets so you can easily add your preferred locations to an existing file, ensuring compatibility for future use.
The above info was believed to be correct as of DayZ Update Patch 1.20, April 2023.
Thanks, Rob.
