Ok, so this video tutorial is aimed at DayZ users who are familiar with (and have set up) a local server on their PC, have got offline mode working at some point, have installed & know how to use Vanilla Plus Plus Admin tools, and know how to edit a missions init.c & Server Config files...
If you're good with the above, then subscribe to Projectile Debug Mod on Steam, and follow the instructions for installing it that are detailed in the readme inside the mod, adding the -newErrorsAreWarnings=1 to the startup parameters as I show you in the video.
For me, to get the bullet tracers working, I then had to make sure the mod was running CF & VPPAdminTools, and copy my config folder from my local server to my DayZ server, so that VPP would recognize me as an Admin / Superuser and allow me to open the VPP menus.
I also edited the init.c so my character would start with a gun and gear, and edited the serverDZ.cfg so that the server started in the morning.
Once the mod is working, just like WOBO, you can travel around the map testing bullet penetration on all sorts of structures so you'll know which buildings you can wall-bang, and which walls and doors are safe to hide behind!
There may well be a much easier way to get the mod working, but this worked for me, so feel free to list your methods in the comments below.
