DayZ Server Modding Guide: cfgignorelist.xml Explained, How To Delete & Stop Specific Items Spawning
cfgignorelist.xml , found in the mission folder directory of your server, is a powerful tool for deleting specific items, loot, bases, vehicles, weapons & more from your DayZ community server & to stop them spawning in again.
In this beginners guide tutorial video I show you how to delete & stop the chem gas grenade from spawning in, and how to remove player-built bases from your server without having to do a reinstall or soft-wipe.
cfgignorelist editing works on PC, PlayStation & Xbox Console servers, and in this video the example I show it working on a local PC server, with reference to an online Nitrado Community Server.
The above info was believed to be correct as of DayZ Update Patch 1.24, Mar 2024.
Thanks, Rob.
