Update:
Only way to fix it if bottom solution doesn't work, is face away from the glare bug disappears then log off from the server, then restart your game, then log on again. bug will be gone and glare will go back to work as it should.

This from my GeorgeRomeroPvE Server, this old but annoying glare sun shaft glitch... hasn't happened before to me in all the time I've played this game, started with 1.12 though..


Anyone who has this Sun Shaft glitch error when playing, this seems to fix it:

Clearing DayZ saved data cache helps with a lot of issues.
Example: C:\Users\ Your user name \AppData\Local\DayZ\DataCache

You delete the chache.ch file in the folder, that's it!
Your character won’t be deleted as it’s saved in the server cache!
