3Daze Before Christmas is a European and Australian release for the Sega Master System (Genesis) and the Super Nintendo. Released in 1994, developed by Norwegian game developer Funcom and published by Sunsoft - A North American release was planned, but ultimately cancelled.
You play as Santa and you're in a race to save Christmas from Louse the Mouse who has stolen all the kids' presents. You will face off against many foes and while facing your enemies Santa will use his magic to unravel presents that could be power ups, friends, or enemies/bombs. As you collect presents you will be able to return them to the kids while flying over various cities in the world.
Although the game didn't receive raving reviews, the game does have an undeniable charm to it. While the source code for the game is from another Funcom-developed game, We're Back a Dinosaur Story!, it still offers a very nice unique experience and it's one of the very FEW Christmas themed games so it's perfect for the Holidays.
No cheats were used during this playthrough.
