The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past needs no introduction - hailed as one of the best Zelda titles in the franchise and one of the top titles for the Super Nintendo. Released in 1991/1992, developed by Nintendo EAD & published by Nintendo - Shigeru Miyamoto would change the face of gaming forever.

You play as Link, a boy with an unknown history and connection to the princess of Hyrule, Zelda. During this 'era' of Zelda - Ganon is imprisoned in his Dark Beast form in the Sacred Realm.. and yes this is the 'Bad' Time Line of Zelda. The 7 sages that have imprisoned Ganon are captured (including Zelda) by the Dark Wizard Agahnim. Link must jump between the present world, Light World, and the sacred realm, now the Dark World - to save the 7 sages and defeat Ganon.

This is a game I played & rented as a kid - but I never appreciated it as a kid. A Link to the Past is easily a top 3 Zelda entry for me and the amount of love there is in the Zelda Community for this game is unreal. This game is original game play, but I do utilize a Rom Hack called the MSU1 Enhancement Chip. What this does is that it converts the audio quality from 16bit to CD stereo quality - and gives us a fun little extra cutscene to start! You will see me struggle in parts because... Randomizers have spoiled me.. haha
