I've read multiple times online that Jahmir's skating is a throwback-and-a-half to 90s skating, and having grown up skating in the 2000s I'll have to agree. The VX1000 footage definitely contributes to the 90s feel in any video I'll see.
This game is a full-blown hobby and videos like this are my way of expressing gratitude to Creature Studios, to Jahmir, to the Skate Gods and Skateboarding in general.

I love how this game lets you choose the time of day, cloudiness, sun angle, all the ingredients are there to allow us to recreate these IRL clips to the T.
The in-game VX1000 camera doesn't cut it for me, and just filming with regular filters and doing color correction in post-prod was the way to go for me.
I change my physics and stats to optimize for every trick. An example: For the line at love park with switch FS crooks and switch shifty kickflip, I had custom settings 1 and 2 set differently and switched between them mid-line so that the crooks has lowest board-to-body distance and higher pop, making it look like he barely makes it onto the high ledge, and the KF has higher board-to-body distance and lower high pop, making it look more mellow and easy-peasy.
