A quick lightning talk I gave at DC212's monthly meeting on 26 September, 2023, discussing the Pirate Box project, what it does, and why it's important to revive it in this day and age.

The original Pirate Box project was a means of building a mesh networked, off-grid computer that could be used for media sharing, a private chat, and for data running, amongst other uses. The original project has not been active since 2019 and is very outdated, and needs to be fixed up and brought up to speed in order to be useful for modern SBCs again. My aim is to bring the project back to relevance again.
