The HARRIER is probably the most difficult airplane in DCS to fly.
Not only is it a nightmare to fly in real life due to the unique STOVL characteristics, you more than likely don't have the proper controls to fly in properly.

Not only does the Harrier require a throttle, but it requires a nozzle switch. Some people who have the twin-engine throttle from the X55 and X56 may be able to get around this, but you'll also have to make certain you weigh around 20,000 lbs or you won't be able to take off vertically. This is a very difficult fighter to learn and even more difficult to master.
