Welcome back to my low level bitterblack isle challenge. After several aggravating attempts, I've finally beaten Dark Bishop. Immediately after that, I went to Barrach and learned the Articulacy augment for decreased spell casting time.

Tip: If you can kill a wraith offscreen, do it. Ghosts are some of the most troublesome enemies in the game. I hate fighting them even at high level.

Another Tip: High Necromancy. I feel this spell is largely overlooked in comparison to something like maelstrom or bolide. Maneaters (treasure chest mimics) cannot touch you while this spell is active.


Enemies yield between five and six digit xp, leading to multiple level ups. You will most likely no longer be low level at this point. As you transition into high level, it actually gets easier.
