Skeletal Knight is a summon unlocked in Pale Master enhancement of Wizard class (Action Pts on skill tree), not quite well known, but for those interested in building up a necromancer class at low level, it's simple, only costs 3AP at least (can be done by completing 3-4 quests). quite interesting to have a companion while traveling.

To unlock the spell, go to enhancement menu, unlock Dark Reaping (1AP), Skeletal Knight (2AP), then open character sheet, click enhancement, there you can find the spell unlocked in enhancement menu, drag Skeletal Knight spell into spell list, then simply click the spell in spell list to cast it, thus summon a skeleton.

Skeletal Knight is treated as pet companion, therefore always friendy, he has his command list right above your spell list, though you can control hostile undead temporarily by specialising Archmage enhancement, Cleric class, also has its own necromancy spell list, but Pale Master enhancement and Skeletal Knight is exclusive to wizard class.

Pale Master skill tree is for raising debuff spells and upgrading your summoned Skeletal Knight, It's for Wizard Class only, selecting Necromancer path at character creation seems helpful for leveling related skills.
