In 2006, electronica artist BT (a.k.a. Brian Transeau) released his 5th studio album, titled "This Binary Universe". Featuring a collection of downtempo, experimental works, as well as revolutionary usage of "stutter edit" glitches, This Binary Universe became an inspiration for many, not only for its unique production aesthetics but also in the way that its simple, nostalgic melodies evoked an emotional resonance rarely felt in electronic music.

"Sentience" is my love letter to This Binary Universe, featuring tracks directly inspired by the trademark sound of BT's album, yet viewed through the lens of my own unique style. It's an album I've wanted to do for a while, and I'm happy to see it finally come together.
