De La Jet Set Radio chapter 1 GG (Route B) - Level 3: Love Trap
Jet Set Radio (originally released in North America as Jet Grind Radio) is a 2000 action game developed by Smilebit and published by Sega for the Dreamcast. The player controls a member of a youth gang, the GGs, as they use inline skates to traverse Tokyo, spraying graffiti, challenging rival gangs, and evading authorities.
Sega re-released the game in Japan under the name De La Jet Set Radio. This version was released on October 18, 2001, in Japan via Dreamcast Direct (later renamed Sega Direct) and features content that was originally exclusive to PAL and North American versions, namely music, two playable characters, and two stages.
Continuing from Route B of GG Garage invaded by frogs, you have 3 missions you can pick here (From left to right): Graffiti High, Love Trap, and Monster of Kogane. Since I'm taking a long break from the tense mission, I picked the Love Trap and boy...just how tedious this one is. To sum up the mission quick, there are a total of 3 Xtra large Graffiti, 3 large and 10 small ones (5 in the sewer and 5 in the playground area).
Here's the problem though, one Xtra large Graffiti is hard to reach and even worse, you need to jump from the excavator's arm pointing to the other side of the road in front of it, so you better prepare some cans before planning to do so and it takes multiple attempts just to jump at the exact timing on the excavator's arm. Even worse that it's actually one Xtra Large Graffiti split into two section each need 7 cans if you manage to follow the tagging arrows on command. Not only it will take some time just to reach that other side of the road where the Xtra large Graffiti is and if you are being chased by the SWAT team, try to stay focus and ignore the tear gas bomb they threw at you while doing it. I did this one last sadly, so I faced the consequence of having about 350 minutes left and didn't get a Jet in this level.
