De La Jet Set Radio chapter 1 GG (Route B) - Level 5: No. 540
Jet Set Radio (originally released in North America as Jet Grind Radio) is a 2000 action game developed by Smilebit and published by Sega for the Dreamcast. The player controls a member of a youth gang, the GGs, as they use inline skates to traverse Tokyo, spraying graffiti, challenging rival gangs, and evading authorities.
Sega re-released the game in Japan under the name De La Jet Set Radio. This version was released on October 18, 2001, in Japan via Dreamcast Direct (later renamed Sega Direct) and features content that was originally exclusive to PAL and North American versions, namely music, two playable characters, and two stages.
They don't call this stage No. 540 for nothing because you need a lot of air trick just to reach those graffiti on the wall out of reach to you from the ground. Also, the helicopter is back again, and the pilot fired two pair of missiles on you this time instead of just one from the last level (Monster of Kogane). Well it wouldn't be a hassle had it not because of some graffities hard-to-reach location and not to mention....another Xtra large split into two sections. After I died once for trying Love Shocker and failed to dodge the missiles, I have decided that the only way to avoid those missiles is to keep moving and jump around like a monkey especially when you're using frail character like the Love Shocker or Gum. It's weird but it works. You can see me dodging and outsmarting the missile's lock-on feature while grinding on the excavator arm as ramp to tag that one graffiti difficult to reach even with air trick. I prevent myself from dying for the second time and finish the level as best as I can.
