So the other day, I was at the pet store looking for a new fish to add to my collection. And let me tell you, they had some real beauties there. I was browsing the tanks, checking out all the different colors and patterns, when I noticed something strange. One of the fish was just floating there, completely still.
Now, I don't know much about fish, but I'm pretty sure they're not supposed to do that. So I asked the store clerk what was up with this fish, and he said, "Oh, that one's dead."
Dead?! I mean, I know I'm not a marine biologist, but I'm pretty sure a dead fish shouldn't be in the same tank as all the live ones. It's like having a zombie in a room full of humans. It's just not right.
So I asked the clerk what they were going to do with the dead fish, and he said they were going to toss it out. And that's when I had an idea. I asked if I could take the dead fish home with me, and the clerk looked at me like I was crazy. But hear me out.
I figured if I had a dead fish, I might as well make the most of it. So I took the fish home, put it on a cracker, and voila! Dead fish cracker. It's the perfect snack for when you want to gross out your friends and family.
But seriously, folks, what kind of pet store just throws out dead fish like they're yesterday's leftovers? It's a travesty. And don't even get me started on the poor fish's family and friends. They're probably swimming around, wondering where their buddy went, and meanwhile, he's on my kitchen table, getting turned into a snack.
