After some previous concerns because the developers listed the recommended system requirements unusually high with a 13th gen i7 for 4k Ultra, I'm happy to report that Dead Island 2 runs smooth as butter, and according to other players' reports it seems to run very good even on weaker hardware.

Close to zero stutters were encountered in my 5ish hours of gameplay so far, so thats a huge plus when you think about the terrible PC ports we've gotten the past few months! Hats off to the developers for a smooth release.

It should be noted that some players encounter issues with their audio setup when playing Dead Island 2.
