What's up guys and welcome back to Dead Rising 4!! Frank West is back and ready to kick some zombie ass, he returns to Willamette mall 16 years after the first game, at the worst time of year: BLACK FRIDAY!! Now retired and itching for some action the Photojournalist goes on a mission to investigate a mysterious new outbreak that has overrun the newly built mall, right on the site of the old one, they will never learn!! It seems all the Christmas shopping madness and crowds was the perfect formula for a zombie outbreak!! It's up to Frank to get to the bottom of this, but with a new breed of zombie, and a shady clandestine military operation Frank will have to get to the truth any way he can, or die trying!!

Dead Rising 4 features a whole new map, the new Willamette mall and surrounding town are massive, and a whole host of trademark crazy weapons!! Set at Christmas time you can expect some festive foolery, the combo vehicles are back and looking absolutely crazy. Ho ho hold onto your butts because Frank is gearing up for a once in a lifetime sale, 100% off!!! Every zombie head must go!!! Grab your bat and swordfish, gear up in your mankini and let the zombie sleigh ride begin!!!

Dead Rising 4 is an open world survival horror action-adventure video game developed by Capcom Vancouver and published by Microsoft Studios for Microsoft Windows and Xbox One.
The game formally announced and showcased at E3 in 2016. The trailer confirmed the rumors that Frank West would be returning as the main character. The trailer showed Frank returning to Willamette and revealed the setting for the game to be set during Christmas period. The game takes place 16 years after the first game (which means it takes place a year after Dead Rising, and a new outbreak has resulted in the Williamette Memorial Megaplex Mall being overrun by zombies, history repeats itself as Frank has to discover the cause of this new outbreak.

Gameplay-wise, it seems Dead Rising 4 will retain the bigger open world from Dead Rising 3 as Frank can now travel outside the mall and explore the town of Willamette. The game will also introduce new combo weapons to the series.
The game will not feature a time limit of any kind due to negative player feedback with previous games. The exception is the online co-op mode, where players complete objectives with a given time limit. The mode is inspired by the Infinity Mode of the original game. The backstories of the four characters will be detailed within the mode. It starts in a safehouse, where weapons can be purchased before the doors unlock. A safehouse must be reached by the end of the day to survive.
