I am not far into the lets play and I am already forgetting episode numbers. Hooray for having a poor memory!

Flailing around in the trash compacting system is fun; However, try not to get stuck in the fans on your way out and have a nice day.

Flamethrower is certainly more useful this game, but without the ability to stun-lock necromorphs into death it would be a very bad weapon. Sure, it is clear they made it more powerful, but it is still outclassed by everything else.

The detonator mines are proving to be more situational since it will almost always kill in one shot, but on the flip side of that the mines will nearly 100% target one enemy. Fortunately, you can get your ammo back with it and the ammo is always handy since you are unlikely to over use it.

Really dislike how the exploders were buffed in comparison to the first game. On the hardest difficulty in Dead Space 1 you could survive 2 hits with maxed out rig health, but in this game even with maxed health you will still die and this isn't even the hardest difficulty.

Again, for the most part I am dying simply because I do not know when things are going to jump out at me and that knocks off a lot of points since I did a second run after this. In the second run, so far, I have died under 10 times upto chapter 9. Compare that to the the amount of time I've played so far.
