0Welcome to my let's play of Dead Space 2. I've never played this game when it came out, I purchased a EA humble bundle a while back and a copy of Dead Space 2 was included in the compilation. I already beat the first game, and it was awesome (you can watch it here on my channel). If you want a continuation of Isaac Clarke' story, than you're in the right place! Lets not forget that this game a much better game than its predecessor.
I'm playing this game in Ultrawide resolution makes it more cinematic. Not only a bump in resolution, but it also add additional immersion into a very atmospheric game. Combining with an incredible sound design, this game will send shivers down your spine! ๐
โโ WHAT IS DEAD SPACE 2? โโ
Dead Space 2 is a science fiction survival horror video game, developed by Visceral Games and published by Electronic Arts for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, released in January 2011. Set three years after the events of the first Dead Space, the game follows protagonist Isaac Clarke's fight against a new necromorph outbreak on the Sprawl, a space station surrounding a shard of Saturn's largest moon, Titan. Unlike its predecessor, Dead Space 2 has a multiplayer mode, pitting human characters against necromorphs across the Sprawl.
Dead Space 2 received critical acclaim. Critics praised its narrative, graphics, atmosphere, horror, portrayal of violence, sound design, musical score, gameplay, world building, art direction and voice acting, with most noting it as an improvement over its predecessor. Much like in the first game, Isaac must fight the necromorphs, mutated and aggressive human corpses. To take down necromorphs, the player must use "strategic dismemberment": in other words, slicing off limbs or sections of the necromorphs' bodies.
