So Issac is back on the Flight Deck to get communications back online. One of the logs he acquired was from First Comms Operator Bailey; it seems like this ship went rogue due to illegal mining practices. How dumb do you have to be when mining something that is life-threatening?

Either way, once Issac repairs the Communication Array, we finally get a response from the USM Valor. Unfortunately, Hammond's quick instinct prior caused the pod to be caught *first* before the asteroid. And SOMEHOW, these guys decided to open it and let a necromorph loose.

Security these days. Oh well, at least Issac's suit is looking more snazzy.
