First things first, get the power back on so that the heat can be exchanged to the Nexus. Once that's down, it's only a matter of transferring said heat onto the necromorph so we can pry it open. After that, Santos has Isaac go out to collect some parts to create a device that'll allow him to gather the coordinates of the alien device.
As our engineer backtracks and explores parts of this base, he comes across a room where they were presenting a contingency plan for handling a 200-year-old situation in Tau Volantis; by ending one's life and removing all data to keep the colonies safe or whatever.
Once collecting the parts needed to make the weapon, Isaac returns, opening the insides of the Nexus and fighting his way to get the coordinates. Norton meanwhile protests, but he doesn't know better about the situation.
Once grabbing the coordinates, Isaac gets pulled out, but that prick Norton decided to keep him in, rambling on about that "muh survival" bullshit.
He's gonna pay for this.
