Overall Deadeye seems to me like the strongest choice for a bow character especially on the low end of maps/gear. Raider is however still very competitive and by no means a wrong choice as well as other gear choices like Lioneyes Bow can be made for other ascendancies.

This didn't feel as strong in the endgame as I would have liked but still had very good damage and held its own at least for a softcore build. Can comfortably still recommend as a starter.
