At the request of ShanusMaximus over at thisaintnews.com, I did a playthrough / walkthrough of sorts for the NES game Deadly Towers.

I originally thought perhaps I could do a no equipment / item run, and I got somewhat far into the game, but after quite a few attempts, the bats drove me freaking crazy. Thankfully, once you get some of the armor upgrades, things become quite a bit easier. No longer do you have to cower in fear when you see a bat fly in.....

I don't bother getting the parallel shot since in my opinion, that can cause more problems than it's worth. That double shot upgrade is a whole lot better.

While I might have been able to do this without using health potions or whatever, I think it might have been a good idea to have bought some.

And there is going to be some money grinding near the beginning of the game since I wanted to make sure I was prepared for the towers. It doesn't last too long though.
