This is the edited version with all deaths removed, for tutorial purposes. I beat this game legit some years back, so I had my good friend Bob Rupples instruct me on exactly what to do again. I didnt remember all the details but he was familiar with the game and also instructed me back then on what to do to win. Its VERY
specific. I will break it all down in this tutorial version. It took around 1 hour to put this playthrough together using save and load states to negate penalties for death and start at the beginning of the encounters. I do that sometimes with games Ive already beaten legit since the video is for demonstration mainly. Normally the game gives you 5 continues, if you max out the setting in options. Though it doesnt really matter because once you run out of money you dont have a chance, since you need enough ammo to kill the bosses. Thats why the strategies are so specific.
This was a game I always liked back when I owned it, when it was current. It was always very hard and mysterious. If you dont know exactly how to fight enemies it can be extremely difficult. Once you know how to fight each enemy, the hardest part gameplay wise is the qualifying rounds between boss fights. Mainly the one near the end. In some ways the game is shitty, but there is alot of things I like about the game. The presentation is dark and the concept of dismembering enemies in certain ways to win is very cool. A game with ONLY boss fights was also rare back then. Alot of cool ideas and its fun to play if you know EXACTLY what to do. Otherwise its not too enjoyable.
