0Welcome to Death end re;Quest2. This is another JRPG from Compile Heart, mostly known for the Neptunia series. This is a fairly easy platinum, as you can play on the easiest difficulty, and while there are a few missables, they aren’t too bad. You have New Game+ in this game, and it doesn’t take very long to go through in New Game+ assuming that you skip cutscenes in the second playthrough.
You are required to go through the game twice. If you get the True Ending on your first playthrough, it would randomly give you a character’s ending, but it will keep giving you that ending. If you get the True Ending in New Game+, you are allowed to pick any character’s ending. I recommend going for the Normal Ending in your first playthrough, and in your New Game+ playthrough, go for the True Ending and all 7 character specific endings. You also have Bad Ends, which are endings that have a bit of dialogue, but it will give you a Game Over screen where you have to reload a save. You can save in most cutscenes, and often these Bad Ends exist where you make a wrong choice when given a choice. Like with most JRPGs, I recommend having a few different saves just in case.
