For this trailer I wanted to convey the pillars of the Dark Souls franchise and mythos - adventure, overcoming adversity and medieval fantasy combat. Additionally, an overarching theme of Dark Souls is Death, Rebirth and a cyclical universe, to embody those characteristics I wanted the narration to end the same way it began. Finally, I didn't want to explain the game too thoroughly, I wanted to keep it somewhat vague just like the game itself. Regardless, with the trailer you can still get a feeling for the franchise as a whole but its something best to experience for yourself.
