In October of 2016, my friend was talking about The Witcher 3 and how much fun he was having with it. I explained to him that I had played the first one and couldn't get more than 10 minutes in because of how terrible the combat and controls were. I had also played The Witcher 2 but it didn't pull me in that much and I didn't even end up finishing chapter 1.
Well, he said he was on the same page as me. And that Angry Joe's review changed his mind.

This review completely changed my mind.
Since then I have played The Witcher 1, The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, and this will be my second playthrough of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. I have also listened to the audio books!
I highly recommend the series and I hope you stick around for the ride of this Let's Play - I think it will be my favourite one to date.
