Deathloop, for better and worse, lets the player dictate the pacing. Aside from the introduction and a tense final loop, progress is dependent on the player making informed decisions, ideally based on the available leads. However, the longer you play, the more gaps there are in each loop, and even if you’re fastidious about tracking leads, you’re going to eventually make mistakes that can set you back on more than one track and throttle the pacing.
