DECIMATED! | Event Mode Run #10 | Eternal Card Game
9It's been over a week since the last time there was some content on this channel. ETS Worlds has concluded and Eternal has a new world champion. It's time get back on the grind again! Dire Wolf Digital announced another Event mode for this past weekend. This one was called the Company of Exiles. For those familiar with the Gauntlet mode, you might recognize that the name is linked to one of the Gauntlet bosses that has a special rule: every spell you play summons a random unit of the same cost as the spell. So, in essence, Gauntlet came to the Event mode this past weekend.
There was spell-slinging everywhere and a ton of hype leading up to the event, but after awhile, it felt anticlimactic (at least to me). It was pretty cool but I didn't enjoy it as much as others since it didn't take long to "break" the format and show why 0 cost cards have to be handled with care in a card game. Anyway, hope you guys enjoy the run. I've got more Eternal content lined up for this week, though there will be no upload on Thursday due to Thanksgiving Day in the states. See you later!
